KBSU is preparing for the New Year
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov are summing up the results of the past 2022 and are actively preparing to celebrate the New Year 2023. On the eve of the New Year holidays, staff members, students and veterans of KBSU received material assistance from the university. Financial support from the trade union committee of KBSU was also provided to the least socially protected employees, members of the trade union. And members of the trade union activists received bonuses. The New Year’s financial aid fund at KBSU amounted to more than 50 million rubles.
New Year’s Eve celebrations will begin on December 21st. In the cultural center H.S. Temirkanov in an intellectual confrontation, university staff will meet at the tournament on the game “What? Where? When?». The series of festive events on December 22 after a three-year break will be continued by the long-awaited, once traditional, «New Year’s Ball». In the hall of the medical faculty of KBSU, students and university staff will dance to classical ballroom music.
On December 23, competitions for the whole family “Dad, Mom, I are a sports family” will be held for the sports component of the holiday on December 23, which will be held in the sports complex of KBSU. There, the winners of the sports competition of university employees dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KBSU will also receive awards. On December 24 and 25, twice a day (at 10:00 and at 13:00), the student theater of KBSU «Curtain» will play the New Year’s fairy tale «Santa Claus and the Magic Mirror» for the children of university employees. After the performances at the cultural center named after H.S. Temirkanov, young viewers will receive sweet treats. For children of employees and students of KBSU from 2 to 14 years old, the university prepared New Year’s gifts On the eve of 2023, the Trade Union Committee of KBSU took care not only of students and employees of the university, but also provided support to military personnel participating in a special military operation to liberate the republics of Donbass from Ukrainian neo-Nazis and denazification of Ukraine.
On December 27, a charity fair will be held in the main building of KBSU. All proceeds will go to military personnel. Earlier, in the KBSU scientific library, as part of the patriotic campaign “We don’t leave our own” under the slogan “Write a letter to a soldier”, students sent letters to the military. And now the New Year mood is created by the festive decoration of KBSU. In front of the entrance to the main building of the university, a large spruce was dressed up, and in the interiors of the university, students and staff are pleased with smaller Christmas trees. On the columns of the main entrance, the festive illumination has also been updated; it will shimmer with many lights until the end of winter.
