KBSU is among the national leaders of the country’s authoritative ratings

The RAEX rating agency, with the support of the Association of Rating Compilers and the Russian Union of Rectors, has compiled local university ratings for the fourth time in eight federal districts of Russia.

Stavropol State Medical University, Dagestan State Medical University, A.A. Kadyrov Chechen State University, Dagestan State University and Pyatigorsk State University are in the top 5 in the North Caucasus Federal District.

Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University named after V. M. Kokov is in 15th place.

The largest and most prominent regional universities, including Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov, are excluded from the local rankings, as they rose higher and entered the Moscow international ranking «Three University Missions» and the ranking of the best Russian universities RAEX-100 based on the results of 2023 and 2024.

As the organizers note, the main focus of the ranking has now shifted to assessing a wide range of regional and highly specialized universities, rather than identifying national leaders.

The next ranking of the best Russian universities RAEX-100 will be released on June 3, 2025, and the Moscow international ranking «Three University Missions» is planned for publication in August 2025.
