International Students of KBSU Looked for Solutions to Global Problems

The Higher School of International Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov summed up the results of the drawing and essay competition «Global Challenges and Solutions».

«The competition gave KBSU international students the opportunity not only to show their talents, demonstrate their intellectual abilities and creative thinking, but also allowed the children to feel the importance of their creativity for others,» noted Asiyat Zhurtova, Director of the KBSU Higher School of International Relations.

The winners were:

— in the nomination «Best Drawing» on the topic «Global Challenges» — Sharma Arushi, a 2nd-year student of the specialty «General Medicine»;

— in the nomination «Best Essay» on the topic «Solutions to Global Challenges» — Senthilnathan Ayushmaan, a 1st-year student of the specialty «General Medicine»;

– in the nomination “Audience Award” – Faeza Zain, 6th-year student of the specialty “General Medicine”;

– in the nomination “Directorate Award for the Best Drawing” – Yussef Satanay, 6th-year student of the specialty “General Medicine”;

– in the nomination “Directorate Award for the Best Essay” – Khydyrova Shemshat, 1st-year student of the specialty “Geography”.

Distinguished students were awarded with certificates and prizes. Active participants of the competition received certificates.

For their participation in organizing and holding the competition, the curators of the regional associations and the staff of the GSOM were awarded letters of gratitude.

The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vadim Lesev acknowledged the contribution of the GSOM Director Asiyat Zhurtova and the Director of the College of Design Alim Kanloev to the organization of the competition.
