KBSU included in the All-Russian student league of drone racing

Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov is among 20 Russian universities that will receive special support for the development of a new sport – drone racing.

Under the agreement with the All-Russian Federation of Drone Racing, all project participants will be provided with special simulators, with the help of which students will learn the basics of UAV control for civil and sports use.

In addition, KBSU was included in the All-Russian student league of drone racing.

The university will create a physical education and sports club, where students will be able to study, train and improve their skills in piloting drones to participate in all-Russian and international competitions.

Drone racing is officially recognized as a sport in Russia and is included in the register of domestic competitions.

And at the beginning of September, a regional branch of the All-Russian Racing Federation was opened in Kabardino-Balkaria.
