KBSU holds courses on anti-terrorist protection of educational institutions
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov has launched advanced training courses on the topic of «Ensuring anti-terrorist protection of educational institutions’ facilities (territories)». Representatives of educational institutions of the republic responsible for security at their facilities have been invited to the classes.
The course program includes studying regulatory legal acts, as well as practical training in developing safety data sheets and plans for surveying and categorizing facilities. The training is carried out in person and in absentia.
Renata Shibzukhova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Accounting and Analytical Information Systems of the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance of KBSU, gave a lecture in person on modern terrorist threats, spoke about the need to develop a comprehensive security plan in each educational institution, as well as about the mandatory components of ensuring anti-terrorist protection. Special attention is paid to the distribution of responsibilities in this area.
The advanced training program was developed by the National Center for Information Counteraction to Terrorism in the Educational Environment and the Internet (NCCTIC) and agreed with the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC).
The training was implemented by the KBSU Coordination Center on the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
