KBSU has launched a new academic year

First-year students of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov gathered on the square in front of the university to celebrate Knowledge Day and the Day of Statehood of the KBR. The ceremonial assembly, which opened to the sound of the National Anthem of Russia, marked the beginning of a new stage for new students. This academic year, about 5,000 people became first-year students at KBSU.

Acting Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov warmly welcomed the students:

“I congratulate everyone on Knowledge Day! At our university, you will not only gain valuable knowledge, but also find true friends, master teamwork skills and be able to look into the future of our republic and alma mater. Let our joint successes become a reason to be proud of our Kabardino-Balkaria, for our university. I wish everyone a positive attitude and rapid progress. With the beginning of student life, all the best!”

Ambassador of the All-Russian student project «Your Move» Larina Shakueva called on new students to actively participate in the life of the university and the project, emphasizing that student life is a time of discovery and self-knowledge.

KBSU graduate, participant of the All-Russian student graduation — 2025 Diana Dzhurtubaeva, addressing her successors, wished them courage in new endeavors and assured that KBSU will become a real home for them, which they will be proud of.

The festive mood was complemented by bright performances of talented students and the national dance ensemble «Kafa», and the traditional performance of the KBSU Anthem became a symbol of unity.
