KBSU graduates presented startups in children’s robotics

Four social startup projects that modernize the approach to teaching primary school students were the result of the defense of final qualification works by students of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.

Future teachers in the profile «Primary Education and Children’s Robotics» under the supervision of PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor of the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Fatimat Tseeva developed solutions that directly meet the goals of national development of Russia until 2030 and beyond, outlined in the Decree of the President.

The projects present modern pedagogical ideas that can be applied in practice today. Graduates developed a collection of problems in robotics and methodological recommendations for teachers. A research project was also presented that examines the role of extracurricular activities in forming interest in technical disciplines.

The course «Flying Robotics» was presented by graduates Amir Makhov and Ivan Danilushkin.

Our educational program introduces students to the basics of aircraft modeling and unmanned aerial vehicles. We have developed a teaching and methodological complex that allows this course to be used both within the school curriculum and in the additional education system,

For children with disabilities, the students developed an adaptive course «Entertaining Robotics». The guys took into account special educational needs and offered an accessible format of training.

The graduates’ projects were assessed by the state examination committee chaired by Nikolai Borytko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Volgograd State University.

The students showed a creative approach and understanding of the current tasks of education: digitalization, inclusion, development of the technical potential of young people,
