KBSU employees took part in a discussion of problems of forming a municipal personnel reserve
Employees of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov took part in a meeting of the council of the Public Chamber of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic «Municipal Personnel Reserve: Problems of Attracting Competent Specialists and Young People to Work in Local Government».
The problems of staffing the municipal service included low wages, insufficient qualifications of municipal employees, unwillingness to comply with restrictions and prohibitions, and requirements for official behavior.
Director of the Institute of Management, Tourism and Hospitality Industry of KBSU, PhD in Economics Ramazan Ligidov confirmed that KBSU is implementing programs whose graduates can form a personnel reserve for municipalities, but due to the low level of wages, there is a high proportion of graduates who are not employed in their specialty.
Head of the Career Development Department of KBSU, lecturer of the Russian Society «Knowledge» Ratmir Kotsev outlined the problems that require joint solutions: the outflow of applicants from the republic to other regions; low level of awareness about the possibility of concluding contracts for targeted training; lack of a strategy for attracting and retaining young specialists.
Ratmir Timurovich called the digital career environment of KBSU one of the effective resources in solving personnel issues.
