KBSU employees awarded with state awards of the Russian Federation

In honor of Russia Day, the Head of the KBR Kazbek Kokov presented high state awards to residents of Kabardino-Balkaria who made a significant contribution to the development of the republic. Among them are employees of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, for merits in the field of healthcare and many years of conscientious work, the honorary title «Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation» was awarded to the head of the Department of General Surgery of the Medical Academy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov Ruslan Zakhokhov.

Ruslan Maksidovich has established himself as a leading operating surgeon in the republic, specializing in the surgical treatment of thyroid pathologies. He successfully combines practical work in healthcare with teaching. He has published over 150 scientific papers. The long-term work of R.M. Zakhokhova has received numerous awards at the republican and federal levels.

For active participation in the preparation and holding of socially significant events, the President of the Russian Federation expressed gratitude to Elina Guchapsheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Social and Humanitarian Institute of KBSU, Chairperson of the regional branch of the All-Russian public movement «Mothers of Russia» of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

RO «Mothers of Russia» of the KBR implements significant all-Russian projects aimed at maintaining family health, the role and importance of women, helping children in difficult situations in life.
