Release date: 03.10.2022

September 29 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov was instructed on safety for the labor collective of the Institute of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. A conversation with the employees was conducted by the deputy head of the Integrated security department — director of the Center for anti-terrorist security and prevention of extremism of the KBSU Ahmed Autlov. The purpose of the event is to train university employees in the skills to properly respond when strangers and suspicious objects are found on campus facilities. “Such meetings are held regularly and according to plan, and their essence is not only to provide the staff with all the necessary information, but also to develop moral and psychological stability so that even in a stressful situation, employees do not get confused and strictly follow the given algorithms,” — said Ahmed Akhedovich.

Most of all those present were interested in the question of how to act when receiving messages about the threat of mining an educational institution to postal addresses.

“The main thing is not to panic and immediately transfer the information to the head of the unit, who, in turn, will contact the private security company and the necessary law enforcement agencies. The main thing is to keep calm yourself and not to spread panic and unnecessary information to others, the competent authorities responsible for security will inform the algorithm of correct actions and check the accuracy of the data received,” — said Ahmed Autlov.

Employees of the university were explained what to do when they receive a signal about an emergency. In the manual for university employees, the numbers of stationary telephones of the emergency dispatch service of life support systems were published: gas service, water utility, power grid company and others needed to solve emergency problems. In the near future, methodological recommendations and action algorithms necessary to maintain a high level of security at the university were sent to the heads of departments of the university, who, in turn, must convey this information to all employees and students of the university.
