KBSU celebrated the International Day of Higher Education Teachers and Psychologist Day

The Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov celebrated two holidays at once: the International Day of Higher Education Teachers and Psychologist Day.

IPPES is one of the largest divisions of the university. It was created in 2017 by merging the Pedagogical Institute and the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports. But the history of the Pedagogical Institute dates back to 1967, when the Department of Physical Education was opened. Over 51 years, thousands of teachers and specialists in physical education and sports have been trained here.

The staff of teachers and students of the institute were congratulated by the first vice-rector of KBSU Murat Gukepshokov, noting the importance of the work of teachers and psychologists in the educational system:

You are true masters of your craft, and your work deserves the deepest respect and recognition. Thank you for your dedication and selfless work! And I wish our students good luck on their life’s journey. May there be many bright moments and great achievements ahead.

And now for the students who have embarked on the path of pedagogical education: you are not mistaken. This is a kind, long, creative, unique path that is associated with huge children’s souls. Appreciate this and understand your participation in the development of someone’s personality.

On behalf of the Primalkinskaya School of the Prokhadnensky District, where she works, Galina Dudka expressed heartfelt gratitude to the director of the KBSU Institute of Pedagogical and Physical Education Olga Mikhailenko for fruitful cooperation, which allowed many important projects for the school to be implemented during their joint work.

The future teachers prepared concert numbers for their mentors. National dances performed by talented students and songs with a guitar captivated the audience. The audience did not skimp on applause.

And the hosts of the evening, on behalf of all the students of the Institute of Pedagogical and Physical Education, thanked the teachers who inspire them to explore new horizons and help them to reveal their potential.
