KBSU celebrated the beginning of the new academic year

Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, like all educational institutions of the country, today opened its doors to students again. More than a hundred activists and first-year students gathered on the square near the main building to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year 2024/2025.

Traditionally, the holiday began with the ceremony of raising the state flag. The Russian tricolor appeared on the flagpole crowning the university building, to the sounds of the anthem of our country. Acting Rector of KBSU Murat Gukepshokov congratulated everyone on the past Statehood Day and the beginning of the new academic year and wished them success in their studies.

KBSU is a large and friendly family, uniting over twenty thousand students and more than three thousand teachers and employees providing the educational process. Representatives of forty countries of the world and compatriots from thirty regions of the Russian Federation receive knowledge from us. In our university, you can see almost half the world. We are very proud of this. And everyone who chose our university made the right choice! Dear friends, I congratulate you on the beginning of the academic year! Fellow countrymen, I congratulate you on the Statehood Day! I wish you all success! Bon voyage!

After the official part, a concert took place. Dance and vocal numbers were prepared by creative groups and talented activists of KBSU.
