Faster, higher, stronger, more friendly! The youth sports and entertainment festival «Studgonka» dedicated to Russian Student Day was held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.

The vice-rector for youth policy, educational work and social issues Beslan Nazranov congratulated the heroes of the occasion on the upcoming holiday:

You are part of our student community. We are proud of you! And today’s sports festival is a great opportunity for you to show your talents, make new acquaintances, and demonstrate your athletic abilities. I really hope that the strongest will win today. At the same time, I am rooting for each of you. I wish you all good luck!

9 teams from various structural divisions of the university gathered to measure their strength, show their ingenuity and agility in fun relay races in the physical education and sports complex of KBSU. All stages were held in a tense struggle.

During the breaks, fans were invited to take part in the entertaining competitions «Pillow Fight», «Arm Wrestling», «Passing Under the Crossbar». The most agile and persistent were awarded valuable prizes.

According to the results of the competition, the team of the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance (IPEiF) became the winner. Silver went to the team of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies (IIaIDT). The top three was completed by the team of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education and Sports Education (IPPiFSO).

Director of the Center for Physical Education, Development of Student Sports and Tourism of KBSU Dmitry Timofeev presented the winning teams with well-deserved awards: certificates and diplomas from the Sportmaster store.

A pleasant bonus for the participants and fans of the sports and entertainment festival was a buffet from the organizers — the Department of Youth Policy and Educational Work and the Center for Physical Education, Development of Student Sports and Tourism of the university.
