KBSU becomes a forge of innovative technologies in the region

In the Elbrus educational and scientific complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov held a Strategic session “Strategy for the development of the university in the context of the Priority 2030 program,” in which representatives of government authorities of the KBR took part.

Under the expert leadership of the acting rector of KBSU, Professor Yuri Altudov, the session was held in the format of a two-day intensive course on two main tracks: “Target model of university development and key objectives for 2024 in the context of the regional development strategy” and “Updating the parameters of KBSU strategic projects.”

This strategic session under the Priority 2030 program is aimed at considering the main directions of KBSU’s development strategy, we are updating our strategic projects, identifying problems that we have encountered as they are being implemented, and developing proposals and solutions to overcome current problematic situations. All this is aimed at strengthening the strategic development program of the university so that we can achieve the ambitious tasks and goals that we have set for ourselves, and this is the task for KBSU to become a driver of the socio-economic development of our region. In this regard, an important stage of the work that we are engaged in today is the synchronization of the development strategies of the region and the university. I thank the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism, the Ministry of Digital Economy of the KBR and other ministries and departments of our republic who took part in the session, with whom we discussed the directions of development of the university,

During the session, heads and specialists of the university’s structural divisions, with the participation of the university’s management, considered a number of key topics in terms of implementing the parameters of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030”: “Design solutions and change management within the framework of the university development strategy”, “Methodological changes in support of the Program “Priority 2030”, educational, scientific, campus and financial policies of the university, development programs for the educational departments of the university.

The work in three sections of the session was intense and intensive: “Target model and management system”, “Basic, auxiliary, end-to-end processes”, “Strategic projects”.

Today we see that the university has undergone many transformations in a positive direction, including the campus infrastructure has been greatly updated, our university has begun to look much more attractive, both for employees and students. A lot of new functionality has appeared, as part of the Priority 2030 program, new laboratories have been opened and filled with new high-quality equipment, we are opening virtual classes, introducing various digital technologies, new comfortable learning zones are appearing, but most importantly, the university will make an even greater contribution to the socio-economic the development of our region will initiate new changes in the region in various areas.
