KBSU became the final venue of the Marathon of Inclusive Practices of SKFU

A round table «Information aspects of creating an inclusive socio-cultural educational space in the university» was held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov. It became the final event of the Marathon of Inclusive Practices of the Resource Educational and Methodological Center for the Education of Disabled People and People with Disabilities of SKFU.

Oleg Balov, director of the Center for Assessment and Development of Competencies of KBSU, wished the participants fruitful work and successful interaction.

Olesya Salnikova, a representative of the RMC SKFU, spoke about how the university provides an educational space for students with various nosologies, which implies not only distance learning, but also the actual inclusion of students in actual, rather than virtual, attendance of classes. She also noted the importance of career guidance work among people with disabilities, reported on a set of measures for the admission of people with disabilities to budget places, as well as on the mechanisms for adapting educational and methodological content (using the activities of the SKFU Tifloaudiolaboratory as an example) and the algorithm for creating video accessibility passports.

Head of the Inclusive Education Department of the KBSU Educational Model Design Department Lyudmila Nastueva prepared a report on social media as a tool for promoting inclusive ideas and practices.

Director of the Career Development Center of the KBSU Career Development Department Kristina Lopatina covered the topic «Information as a Factor in Career Growth».

Director of the KBSU Library Aimani Gerieva spoke about the role of the library in the formation of an inclusive socio-cultural space at the university.

Rehabilitation of children with disabilities and special educational needs must necessarily take place in the conditions of interaction and cooperation between parents, educational institutions, psychologists, and physicians, says Rimma Bagova, PhD in Psychology and Deputy Director of the Institute of Psychology and Physical Education and Social Development for Research and Informatization.

Zarema Atabieva, head of the Department of Theory and Technology of Social Work at the Saratov Institute of Social Sciences, emphasized the relevance and importance of developing volunteer activities as a condition for the formation of an inclusive educational environment.

At the end of the meeting, the results were summarized, the results were analyzed, and further ways of cooperation were outlined in terms of expanding the experience of implementing inclusive practices for the development of higher inclusive education within the framework of cooperation between the NCFU RMC and partner universities.
