KBSU became one of 1258 regional platforms of the Economic Dictation — 2023

About 1000 students from different educational departments of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov tested their economic literacy by taking part in the All-Russian Economic Dictation on October 11.

The curators of the project at the KBSU site were teachers of the Department of Economics and Accounting and Analytical Information Systems of the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance Lorina Aslanova and Bella Karmova.

The main goal of the event is educational: to arouse interest in economic science and the current economic agenda. The theme of the dictation in 2023 was: “Strong economy – prosperous Russia!”

The test task of the All-Russian Economic Dictation was presented in two versions:

– for students in grades 9-11 of educational institutions of secondary general and vocational education (category “schoolchildren”);

– for students of higher educational institutions of Russia, other professional and social groups (category “students and others”).

Assignments were traditionally compiled on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach, that is, they were related not only to economics, but also to social studies, literature, history, and jurisprudence.

Our students showed excellent results, 100 points out of 100 possible were scored by Master’s student in Economics Harun Temukuev,

— said Associate Professor Lorina Aslanova.

It should be noted that the “All-Russian Economic Dictation” 2023 campaign was supported in all regions of Russia and in 10 foreign countries — in the Republic of Belarus, Mongolia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Syria and China.

The organizers of the action are the Free Economic Society of Russia and the International Union of Economists, and its partners were the Yuri Luzhkov Foundation, the Russian Historical Society, leading universities of Russia, administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The results of the All-Russian Economic Dictation will be presented on November 11, at the All-Russian Economic Meeting, dedicated to the professional holiday “Economist’s Day”.
