KBSU became a partner of the Artmasters National Championship of Creative Competencies

May 3, 2023 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov held a meeting of university students and students of general educational organizations of the KBR with the director of the National Open Championship of Creative Competences «ArtMasters» (Masters of Arts) Borislav Volodin.

Borislav Volodin is a member of the Russian Television Academy. Graduated from the International University in Moscow. Work: 1998-2000 — director of programs of OJSC «TV Center». 2000-2006 — Program Director / Deputy General Director of the Muz-TV channel (projects: Muz-TV Prize, Star Factory-4). 2006-2007 1999 — 1999 — director of production of the television company «VID». 2009 — Chief Technical Manager of Eurovision 2009. 2012 — head of the film crew of the ceremony «Inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin.» From 2008-2012 — General Director of Technostyle Technology LLC (Krasny Kvadrat Holding).

Since 2009 to the present time — First Deputy General Director of Technostyle Technology LLC and director of the autonomous non-profit organization ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies.

The championship is a unique competition, a serious professional competition for backstage specialists, that is, those without whom it is impossible to create any modern creative product. This is not only a competition, it is an opportunity for top-level professionals to share their knowledge with the participants of the championship. That is, representatives of regional creative industries and talented youth are consolidating on the platform of the championship,

As part of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between KBSU and ANO «National Open Championship of Creative Competences» ArtMasters «KBSU’s Vice-Rector for Research Svetlana Hashirova and Director of the Championship Borislav Volodin.

The Parties will strive to develop and strengthen cooperation in the field of Russian culture, education and enlightenment, based on the principles of mutual benefit and striving to promote social activities aimed at supporting youth, identifying, accompanying and supporting young people who have shown talent and young professionals in the field of culture and art, promotion of employment of young citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign Russian-speaking citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the agreement with your university is to involve young people in creative activities and identify professional, qualified personnel, social, cultural and moral development of young people in the implementation of programs and projects in the field of youth policy and creative industries. Now we are deliberately focusing on the regional promotion of the project, since the huge potential of the creative economy is concentrated in the regions of Russia, but there are certain informational and administrative barriers that we intend to eliminate. I am very pleased that we have entered into an agreement with the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, which is the most important educational platform in the region. In the future, the possibility of accruing additional points to schoolchildren participating in the championship is being considered when entering this university according to the competencies of the competition, which correspond to the educational standards of KBSU. Together we hope to have a positive impact on the development of the creative potential of the region,

Presenting the project, Borislav Volodin noted that the registration of applications for the fourth season of the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies is currently underway, which will last until May 28. The championship has two age categories — 14 — 17 years old and 18 — 35 years old. You can apply for one of the many competencies. For juniors, the organizers have prepared ten creative competencies. In the main age category, competitions will be held in twenty competencies. To do this, you must fill out a questionnaire and portfolio on the site: artmasters.ru. To get to the final of the championship, you must successfully pass the online qualifying and qualifying stages: testing and a creative task. The finalists will gather in Moscow for the final competition.

The names of the winners will be announced on September 26 at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. They will receive cash certificates that they can spend on training, buying equipment or implementing their own creative project. Each winner gets a unique opportunity to have a 2-week internship in one of the major creative companies, and the winners from the junior category will have an internship in Artek in September. At the end of the presentation, Borislav Volodin answered the questions of the young audience.

Concluding the meeting, acting KBSU Vice-Rector Svetlana Hashirova expressed her hope that the number of applications for ArtMasters from Kabardino-Balkaria would be impressive, and, as a result, more highly qualified specialists and interesting creative projects would appear. It should be noted that the National Open Championship of Creative Competencies “ArtMasters” has been held since 2020. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow. Its Supervisory Board is headed by Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
