KBSU athletes won prizes at the international all-style karate festival

Students from the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov successfully represented the university on the international sports arena. They won prizes at the international all-style karate festival, the «Open Seiken Cup,» held in Moscow.

The tournament was attended by 1,294 athletes from 17 countries. In a highly competitive environment, KBSU students demonstrated excellent physical fitness and a strong will to win.

Following the competition, Astemir Zhambeev, a first-year student at the Institute of Architecture, Construction, and Design, took first place in the 80 kg weight category (men 18+).

Eldar Urusbiev, a first-year student at the Institute of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, took second place in the 85 kg weight category (men 18+).
