KBSU Again Tops Financial Management Rankings Among Russian Universities

KBSU has been recognized as the leader in the financial management rankings among Russian universities for the third consecutive year. This was announced at the 3rd All-Russian Forum of Heads of Financial and Economic Services of Higher Education Institutions and Research Organizations, which was held at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The university demonstrated a high level of budget management, process transparency, and successful implementation of a strategy aimed at ensuring financial sustainability. These achievements contribute to improving the quality of the educational process and research activities, enabling the university to effectively respond to modern challenges and labor market demands, as well as create new opportunities for students and faculty.

Aslan Pshigoshev, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development at KBSU, received the winner’s diploma from Andrey Omelchuk, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education. The university previously won this award in 2023 and 2024, confirming its status as one of the best in financial management.

During the forum, representatives of leading Russian ministries and agencies discussed issues of public policy and funding for science and higher education for the period 2026–2028. Particular attention was paid to modern methods of planning and resource allocation, improving the efficiency of budgetary use, developing mechanisms for funding research activities, and improving management models at universities.
