Ismail Miziev received the gold medal named after Academician V.D. Fedorov

Director of the Medical Academy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov, Professor Ismail Miziev was awarded the gold medal named after Academician V.D. Fedorov of the Russian Society of Surgeons. The award ceremony took place at the opening of the VIII Congress of Surgeons of the South of Russia in Nalchik.

This high award emphasizes the significant contribution of Ismail Miziev, an honored scientist and physician of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, to the development of surgery. He is the chairman of the Kabardino-Balkarian Society of Surgeons and a member of the commission on surgery of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

Ismail Alimovich is a recognized specialist in his field, and his work has had a huge impact on surgery both in Kabardino-Balkaria and beyond. He works in various areas, including emergency surgery, combined trauma, oncosurgery and plastic surgery. Many modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of surgical diseases were introduced by him in medical institutions of the KBR.
