Invention Of Scientists Of KBSU Takes Bronze At The International Investment Forum
Developments of the Center for Advanced Materials and Additive Technologies for 3D Printing Based on Superconstruction Polymers and Composites of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov received a bronze medal and a special prize from the Taiwan League of Investors.
From 6 to 9 December 2018 in the largest exhibition and congress complex of the Asian region COEX (Seoul, South Korea) the XIV International Exhibition and Fair of Innovations SIIF-2018 was held, dedicated to high-tech developments and technologies and focused on their commercialization. The forum was organized by the Korean Intellectual Property Association under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the International Federation of Inventive Associations.
More than 640 inventions in all areas of science and technology from 31 countries were presented at the fair. The largest national expositions were South Korea, China, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, Iran, Egypt and Poland.
The exposition of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia includes 17 leading Russian universities, national research centers of the country, scientific and research-and-production enterprises, which demonstrated 45 innovations in information and telecommunication technologies, alternative power sources and energy saving, nanotechnologies, safety and environmental management. Laboratory of Advanced Polymers at KBSU presented its developments in the section «new materials».
Having sustained tough competition among other superconstruction polymers, the development of our scientists in almost all parameters was recognized as one of the best and received a bronze medal SIIF-2018, as well as a special prize from the Taiwan League of Investors, which in the industrial sphere of the Asian region is equal to the quality mark.
Svetlana Khashirova, head of the Center for Advanced Materials and Additive Technologies for 3D Printing Based on Superconstruction Polymers and Composites at KBSU, said that all developments presented in the Russian exposition are of scientific interest and high potential for commercialization.
«Participation in SIIF contributes to the demonstration of advanced innovative developments and projects carried out by Russian research teams in the areas of the Strategy for the Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation, improving information exchanges and technology transfer, strengthening cooperation of higher education institutions in the field of science and technology and training, and the withdrawal of high-tech domestic technologies to world markets», — Svetlana Khashirova thinks.
