International students from KBSU spoke out against corruption at the international youth social advertising competition
At the International Youth Social Anti-Corruption Advertising Competition «Together Against Corruption,» organized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, international students from Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov won prizes in two categories.
In the 21-25 age category, Adel Gharib (Egypt, a fifth-year student at KBSU Medical Academy) took third place in the «Best Drawing» category for his work «No to Corruption!» In the «Best Video» category, the jury awarded second place to Sudhakar Dharmarajan (India, a third-year student at KBSU Medical Academy) for his video «Together Against Corruption.»
KBSU submitted 20 works to the competition, created by students from India, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Syria, and Egypt. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation recognized KBSU’s contribution to shaping global anti-corruption awareness and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in promoting the values of integrity and legality.
The awards ceremony, held at KBSU’s Higher School of International Education, was attended by employees of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Prosecutor’s Office – Zalina Bekulova, Head of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with Anti-Corruption Legislation; Fatima Ulbasheva, Prosecutor of the same department; and Zaurbek Koshiyev, Prosecutor of the Human Resources Department.
On behalf of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Prosecutor’s Office, letters of gratitude and valuable prizes were presented to the competition participants, along with an official letter of gratitude from the Prosecutor of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, State Counselor of Justice Nikolai Khabarov, 2nd Class.
The competition aimed to draw young people’s attention to the problem of corruption, support creative initiatives in the creation of social advertising, and strengthen cooperation between society and the government in the fight against this phenomenon.
