International Conference on Quality Management and Information Technology Starts at KBSU
On September 23, the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference «Quality Management, Transport and Information Security, Information Technology» (IT&MQ&IS–2024) and the School for Young Scientists, Postgraduates, Masters and Students «Quality. Innovations. Education» started at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.
The organizers were traditionally the European Quality Center, the Russian North-West Section of the IEEE (IEEE Russia NW Section), the Interregional Public Organization «Academy of Quality Problems of the Russian Federation», the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics named after V.A. Kotelnikov (IRE RAS and a number of Russian universities.
The conference brought together leading scientists and practitioners from various fields of application of digital information technologies and quality management in the context of digital transformation.
Acting Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov wished the participants fruitful work and expressed his deep gratitude to Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Quality Management of RUT MIIT, Director of the European Center for Quality Vladimir Azarov as “the driver of further development of the areas presented at the conference.”
As a sign of friendship and deep respect, Yuri Altudov presented Vladimir Azarov with the Certificate of Honor of KBSU.
The main topics of the conference are “Quality Management Systems”, “Computer Security”, “Problems of Planning and Quality Management in Transport Construction”, “Automation of Business Processes”, “Mechatronic and Robotic Systems and Technologies in Medicine and Biology”, “Design and Technological Informatics in Industry”, “Navigation and Information systems. Global navigation satellite system (GLONASS)», «Information and communication technologies in education, science and economics», «Import substitution and food security», etc.
The participants will exchange useful practical experience, and will also be able to assess the latest trends in the stated topics and plan further steps in the development of information technologies.
The conference will last until September 26. Based on the results, the reports presented in Russian will be published in the journals «Quality. Innovations. Education», «Petersburg Economic Journal», «Information Technologies», «Quality and Life». Reports in English and corresponding to the IEEE subject areas will be published in a separate collection and offered for placement in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and indexing in SCOPUS.
