The delegation of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU) successfully performed at the XI International Pedagogical Forum. The event was held at Kazan Federal University and brought together thousands of experts in the field of education from around the world. The forum became a platform for exchanging best practices and discussing global trends.

Along with Russian specialists, representatives of the education systems of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Iran, Cuba and other countries participated in the work. The KBSU delegation included vice-rector for Academic Affairs Vadim Lesev and Director of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education (IPPiFSO) Olga Mikhaylenko.

In her speech, director of the IPPiFSO Olga Mikhaylenko presented the educational case of the university, especially highlighting the high demand for pedagogical specialties among graduates.

Over the past few years, the percentage of students willing to commit their lives to the teaching profession has remained consistently high at KBSU. 85% of university graduates successfully find employment in pedagogical fields, which indicates the high-quality training and relevance of the programs,

— emphasized Mikhaylenko.

A significant element of the case was the innovative master’s program «Pedagogical Education and Human Development», implemented jointly with the Institute of Education of the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» (NRU HSE). This double degree program is aimed at training a new generation of teachers who are able to effectively operate in a rapidly changing world.

Upon completion of the program, graduates receive double degrees from HSE and KBSU and can teach in any educational institution. Such active cooperation contributes to the development of the education system in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic as a whole,

— noted Olga Ivanovna.

Following the meeting of the coordinating council, vice-rector Vadim Lesev and director Olga Mikhailenko were solemnly presented with letters of gratitude for their significant contribution to the holding of the XI International Forum on Pedagogical Education.
