«Incredible adventures of computer scientists» at KBSU

May 15, Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov conducted the traditional annual quest-game «Incredible adventures of computer scientists in Nalchik» among schoolchildren of the KBR.

First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KBSU Vadim Lesev and Head of the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security Tatyana Khashirova addressed the children with a welcoming speech and wishes of good luck. For active participation in the life of the department and assistance in organizing youth cultural and educational events, the masters of the first year of study of the IEEiR of the direction «Informatics and Computer Engineering» Islam Abazov and Rustam Sokhov were awarded with certificates of honor.

Then 11 teams from 10 schools of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, having received route sheets, set off on an exciting journey through the game stations with intellectual tasks in programming and computer science.

All the participants of the game got great pleasure and a lot of impressions, pumping their computer science skills.

According to the results of the game, the first place was taken by the «Questers» team of MKOU Gymnasium №29. Nalchik; II place — the team «Legion» MKOU «Lyceum No. 2» Nalchik;

III place — the team «Formula 1» MKOU Secondary School No. 2 named after H.K. Shidova G. p. Nartkala.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded with cups, medals and valuable gifts. The teachers who prepared the teams for the quest game were awarded with certificates of honor from the university.
