«Imperial» and KBSU will expand the scope of scientific and technical cooperation
October 24 acting Rector of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov Yuri Altudov and acting Vice-Rector of the university for research Svetlana Khashirova visited the Imperial production plant in Chegem as part of an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation and implementation of activities under the Priority 2030 program.
Imperial LLC carries out the design, production and repair of hot runner molds, dies and assembly machines for multi-component products, and produces closures for various containers. Since 2015, the company has operated a modern production and engineering center, equipped with high-precision modern equipment for metalworking: CNC milling centers, CNC lathes; piercing electroerosive machines, surface grinding machines of various modifications.
The head of Imperial, Mukhamed Kunashev, showed the guests production facilities and high-tech equipment, thanks to which the enterprise is at the forefront in the country.
“Today our center is a real production facility with the most modern high-tech equipment, which includes the full production cycle from design and engineering to production and testing of finished products. We employ highly qualified engineering and technical personnel. But, like all developing enterprises, we need to be replenished with engineering personnel and technological improvement, and in this sense we see great prospects in cooperation with KBSU,” noted Kunashev.
During the validity of the agreement with KBSU, Imperial LLC became an experimental and scientific base for a number of undergraduates and graduate students of the university, using the production and scientific resources of the enterprise to prepare final qualifying works and engineering and technical research.
“We would like to expand cooperation with the university both in the field of training highly qualified engineering personnel, expanding joint design and technological activities, and in terms of expanding the areas of our activities,” the director of the enterprise emphasized.
And about. KBSU Rector Yuri Altudov talked with leading specialists of the enterprise’s engineering center, many of whom are KBSU graduates, and noted:
“One of the key tasks of the university is to ensure a high level of cooperation with enterprises in the region so that advanced ideas and developments of KBSU scientists are introduced. We are here to assess the extent to which the university can expand cooperation with Imperial LLC to train qualified engineering personnel and solve joint technological problems. The creation of such connections is an important step to increase the prestige of engineering activities, the scientific and technical development of manufacturing enterprises in the region, the development of the regional economy and ensuring technological sovereignty.”
The parties exchanged views and outlined a roadmap for further cooperation in three areas: development of wear-resistant coatings, joint development of products in demand on the market, cooperation in the use of existing scientific and technological equipment for the joint development and commercialization of new high-tech products.
