HSE and KBSU held an Open Day for applicants on the Zoom platform

An Open Day was held on the Zoom platform for applicants wishing to enroll in the new Master’s program «Pedagogical Education and Human Development», created in partnership between the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» and the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.

Associate Professor of the HSE Institute of Education, academic director of the educational program Yulia Koreshnikova spoke about the implementation of the network program and the disciplines included in it.

Deputy Director of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education Tanzilya Doguchayeva drew attention to the types of practices and the format for their implementation.

As noted by the director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Physical Culture and Sports Olga Mikhailenko, the educational policy of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of KBSU is aimed at improving the quality of training of teaching staff as a key component of training personnel for the economy of the KBR.

«Our republic wants to be a leader in education in the North Caucasus. Therefore, the competencies of the HSE, the interaction of the Institute of Pedagogical and Physical Education and Sports with the Higher School of Economics and joint projects are very important for us,» — emphasized Mikhaylenko.

Leading teachers of two universities — HSE and KBSU — will work with master’s students. During their studies, KBSU master’s students will be able to take courses, work in project teams and participate in seminars together with students of the Moscow campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics according to a time schedule that is optimal for both regions.

Master’s students will be introduced to the most current trends in the development of education. Pedagogical technologies will be introduced into the educational environment of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of KBSU, ensuring the priority nature of education, the development of innovative thinking and behavior of a specialist.

Training under the program involves a quick immersion in special disciplines, so having a specialized pedagogical education will be an absolute plus.

The next Open Day is planned for August 7, 2024.
