On January 25th, on the Day of Russian Students, 16 teams representing different educational units of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov, showed brilliant erudition and a broad outlook in the intellectual battle «Our game», which was held at the initiative of the student trade union committee of the university. According to the rules of the game, in each round there are 5 topics with 4 questions each, a total of 20 questions, arranged from left to right, in ascending order of difficulty (from 100 to 500 points).

Two teams play in a round. The team that correctly answered the warm-up questions starts. The team captain chooses the topic and the denomination of the question. The facilitator reads the question. The team leads the discussion and, if ready, presses the signal button. In the case of a correct answer, the team receives a number of points corresponding to the value of the question, and the right to choose the next question.

If the team gives an incorrect answer, then the same amount is withdrawn from the team’s account and the right to answer this question passes to the other team. The team with the most points wins. It should be noted that KBSU students have excellent knowledge of a wide variety of fields, from natural sciences: history, geography, astronomy, anatomy, literature and even religion to cultural and entertainment: music, fine arts, cinema, anime, etc. As explained in the student trade union committee of KBSU: All teams had equal chances, but only two of them won prizes.

The Dune team (SGI) took the 2nd place, and the Wassermanovs team (a team of students from SGI and IIIiCT) became the winner of the game. In addition to new knowledge, the guys received valuable prizes
