Dmitry Lutsenko, a graduate of the specialized diplomatic class at the Nalchik gymnasium No. 4, became the winner of the republican stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in Spanish. Presenting him with an award, the Minister of Education and Science of the KBR Anzor Ezaov noted that this is «the first winner in the Spanish language Olympiad in our republic in several years.» Dima has his own view and his own opinion on everything — both on the prospects of Russian diplomacy, and on the political situation in the world, and on how to achieve the set goal. The student has been studying in a diplomatic class created with the assistance of KBSU for 4 years now, and is constantly convinced that he made the right first step towards his future profession — he likes everything related to politics, law, linguistics. As Aksana Karasheva, head of the department for pre-university training and career guidance at KBSU, said, students of specialized classes participate in diplomatic forums. Model UN is a permanent youth platform in the format of an open diplomatic conference. Representatives of students and students in the business game act as diplomats and represent the positions of the UN member states on global issues of the world order. The first Model UN in Russia was held jointly by students from MGIMO and Moscow State University in 1990.

«The North Caucasian Model UN «Hotbed of Peace» was first held in 2019 at the site of our university. About 60 students of KBSU, KBGAU and students of diplomatic classes of MKOU «Gymnasium No. 4» of the city of Nalchik took part in the II North Caucasian Model UN. As part of the work of the Model UN, master classes are held by KBSU teachers. Such as: «Gastronomic diplomacy», «Tourism and diplomacy» and «Why be able to write good texts?».

«Over the past three years, I have taken part in many diplomatic forums, both in person and in absentia, including those organized by UNESCO. Only the «Model UN» was held five times. This is such a synthesis of a role-playing game and a scientific-practical conference, where we imitate the work of the UN, honing our diplomatic skills. Three times we held it on the basis of KBSU, and in April of this year it was held on the basis of Moscow State University. I was a «delegate» from the Kingdom of Spain, I made a presentation on the introduction of affordable education in Latin America and the Caribbean», — Dmitry Lutsenko shared.
