They also discussed iodine deficiency in children, innovations in the treatment of acute respiratory viral infections, how to protect yourself from viral infections in the new season and not miss Alagille syndrome, and other pressing topics.

According to Aneta Mambetova, professor of the Department of General Medical Training of the Medical Academy of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, chief specialist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Health, the second day will be dedicated to International Kidney Day. It was performed at the Shumakov Research Institute under the quota of the Kabardino-Balkarian Ministry of Health. His father became the donor, giving him a chance at life. Now Elbrus feels well and dreams of becoming a programmer.

According to the president of the scientific society of nephrologists of Russia, professor of the department of the Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov Irina Bobkova, chronic kidney disease (CKD), like many other chronic diseases, has become much younger in recent years.

Treating chronic kidney disease is not easy, but the earlier the diagnosis is made and treatment is prescribed, the higher the effectiveness of therapy,

— says the doctor of medical sciences.
