Heads of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the KBSU and the Institute of Architecture and Design of the North Caucasian State University discussed the possibilities of further cooperation

Director of the Institute of Design and Linguistics of the North Caucasian State University (Cherkessk) Lidiya Batchaeva visited the Institute of Architecture, Construction and Design of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov to establish academic and creative cooperation.

The guest got acquainted with the material and technical equipment of the classrooms and laboratories of the institute, talked with the staff and students. She was interested in the organization of the educational process, the specifics of completing course projects and final qualifying works in the implemented areas of the institute.

Students of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University demonstrated their creative works in drawing and painting, models, projects, costumes, and showed a master class on weaving braid on fingers using the traditional technique.

In turn, Lidiya Batchaeva recommended that they make greater use of the capabilities of modern computer programs — to create visualizations of models, to resort to the help of artificial intelligence.

During the visit, ways of interaction between the institutes, the possibility of holding lectures, joint projects, research, publications, participation in grants, creative competitions and exhibitions were discussed.

It was also suggested that bachelors in the Design program of the IDiL SKGA continue their studies in the master’s program of the same name, implemented at the IASiD KBSU.
