Good chance for literary authors from KBSU

August 23 is the last day for accepting applications from Russian-speaking authors wishing to take part in the competition for the National Literary Prize of the Roskulttsentr. The competition is open to writers aged 18 to 35: Russian prose writers, poets and screenwriters.

The prize will be awarded in 7 nominations: Nonfiction, Action-packed novel, Science fiction, Fantasy, Poetry, Comics, Children’s Book, as well as in the special nomination — Electronic Book.

According to the organizers of the competition, both unpublished works and previously published works (including samizdat) can apply for the prize.

In the final, 35 works will be selected (five in each nomination). The names will be announced at an event within the framework of the International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg.

What awaits the laureates?

— free training at the «Academy of Writers Eksmo»;

— the possibility of publication in the publishing house «Eksmo», as well as in other Russian publishing houses («Phoenix», «Vakosha», «Peter», «Bumkniga» and «Komilfo»);

— contract for the publication of the work in the publishing house «Litres».

Registration for the competition will last until August 23, 2021. You can submit an application on the official website of the Roskulttsentr.
