From Whom Public Health Depends?

On the site of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. H.M. Berbekova passed, which became traditional, the Civil Forum of non-profit organizations of the KBR, initiated by the Ministry for Interaction with the Institutions of Civil Society and the Affairs of Nationalities of the Republic.

The forum was organized as part of the implementation of the activities of the subprogramme «Improving the efficiency of state support of socially oriented non-profit organizations» of the state program of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic «Interaction with public organizations and civil society institutions in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic».

The forum was attended by more than a hundred leaders and activists of socially-oriented non-profit organizations, leaders of voluntary and charitable public organizations, members of the Public Chamber of the KBR, experts, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, local government, national cultural centers and religious denominations of the republic.

The stated goal of the forum is to promote state-public partnership in the implementation of state policy in the field of achieving social stability and social harmony.

Murat Kardanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Anzor Kurashinov, Minister for Relations with Civil Society Institutions and the Affairs of Nationalities of the KBR; Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on culture, development of civil society institutions and the media, Boris Pashtov, Ider and activists of non-profit organizations. Yekaterina Ageeva, Candidate of Political Sciences, associate professor of the Department of State, Municipal Administration and Law of the RANEPA, acted as an expert at the meeting.

He welcomed the participants, noting the beneficial effect of NGOs on the socio-economic situation in the KBR, the pro-rector of the KBR Husein Kushkhov:

“At this stage of development of our state, it is socially oriented public organizations that form the vector of development of civil society, create an atmosphere of mutual understanding and agreement on issues of mutual assistance and orientation on moral values. The activity of NGOs in many ways forms social well-being. For KBSU and more than two thousand members of its volunteer organizations, it is significant that such an important forum takes place within the walls of the university,” — said Hussein Kushkhov.
Within the framework of the forum, about forty leaders of the most active and productive organizations in carrying out their social missions were awarded various departmental awards. Among the recipients were NGOs, as well as students and university staff: the Republican Volunteer Resource Center «Promotion» (headed by Svetlana Samofalova), the Labor Ecological Unit of the KBSU «Green Watch» (head Asker Shibzukhov), «Association of University Students of the North Caucasus» (chairman Azamat Luyev ), deputy dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the KBSU, head of the regional department of the All-Russian public organization “League of Nation Health” Zareta Kambachokova, undergraduate of the department “Organization of work with Young People «, the president of Kabardino-Balkarian public organization» Creation «, the head of the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society «Altair» Tengiz Mokaev.
The solemn ceremony was adorned by popular artists of the republican stage and the best choreographic collectives of the KBR.
In conclusion, the forum participants adopted a resolution which reflected the current state of development of NPOs and recommendations to the legislative and executive authorities, sectoral agencies and local governments to support socially-oriented non-profit organizations and to improve interaction with them in solving problems aimed at the benefit of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
