From idea to business model: KBSU holds trainings on technological entrepreneurship

For two days – September 9 and 10, 2025 – trainings on entrepreneurial competencies for students will be held at two sites in the Boiling Point of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov. In total, almost 300 people will receive new knowledge and skills.

Welcoming the participants, vice-rector for Promising Projects of KBSU Tanzilya Makhieva noted that trainings on entrepreneurial competencies are held within the framework of the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform – part of the federal project “Technologies”, which is part of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy” of the state program of the Russian Federation “Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation”.

The training participants have the opportunity to try on the role of an entrepreneur, go through all the stages from an idea to a finished business model, work in a team and gain practical knowledge applicable in real professional activities.

Business expert with over 15 years of management experience Anastasia Sholomova and head of the department for the representative office of ANO VO Innopolis University in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts Igor Moshkin talk about how to identify and analyze various trends in order to make informed decisions and stay ahead of competitors. In this training, each participant chooses a suitable role in the project through the manifestation of internal qualities and abilities to create a successful startup. Teams of listeners receive recommendations from experts — current entrepreneurs, which allows them to look at projects from different angles and improve them.

As part of the event, business trainer, head of the Soft Skills department for personal effectiveness and public speaking techniques at ITMO University Anastasia Prichischenko and business trainer for negotiations, consultant on organizational development Elena Karpova conduct a business game «Technological Leaders». The training combines mini-lectures, teamwork and intergroup discussions — comfortable formats for getting acquainted with technological entrepreneurship. Teams generate ideas, create project visualizations, collect data, and analyze the target audience using AI tools.

The event is organized by the training platform of the North Caucasus Federal District – Pyatigorsk State University. The operator of the trainings is the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University).
