Freshmen of KBSU were initiated into students
October 11, 2023 at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh. M. Berbekov held the long-awaited “initiation” — the traditional bright festive initiation of freshmen into students, as always superbly organized by the department for youth policy and educational work of the university.
For a whole month, yesterday’s schoolchildren, now in the status of KBSU students, have been mastering a new format of education: going to classes, listening to lectures, preparing for colloquiums, seminars… In less than three months, the first session in their lives awaits them.
The acting rector of the university, Murat Gukepshokov, came to congratulate the guys on joining the large and friendly family of KBSU students.
I am sure that you will leave university as completely different people. Education is, of course, good, but there is also a university culture that you must absorb during your studies in order to become true patriots of your country.
I wish you success, don’t be lazy, study, acquire new knowledge and skills, participate in various social events. Take all the good things that our university can give you, go for it, do good things, and everything will be fine in your life,
– Murat Gukepshokov advised the newcomers.
Then the acting rector of the university presented the first-year students with a symbolic copy of their student ID as a sign that their time as students had begun.
At KBSU, in addition to studying, there are many other interesting things for students where they can express themselves, show their talents and abilities. To do this, you can contact the department for youth policy and educational work, the student council, or the student trade union committee.
At the dedication, freshmen were told about the largest and coolest student competitions taking place at KBSU. With delight and loud applause, the audience greeted the numbers of the winners of such projects as “Vivat, student!”, “Miss KBSU”, “Mr. KBSU” and, of course, “Student Spring”.
And you can too! Be active and caring!
— Elizaveta Khutorskaya, Deputy Director of the Center for Support of Student Associations, Youth Programs and Projects of UMPiVR KBSU, recommended to the first-year students.
The freshmen’s holiday ended with the traditional performance of the KBSU Anthem.
