First Humanitarian And Aesthetic Class In KBSU
“The challenger will succeed” is the motto of the new profile of the humanitarian and aesthetic class of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov, who opened on February 1 at the Secondary Educational Establishment “Secondary School No. 8 in Baksan.
According to the director of the educational institution, Angela Gubzhokova, education in the humanitarian and aesthetic class will help children to unleash their creative potential and decide on their future profession. “Why was this particular profile chosen? The answer is obvious. Always relevant competent knowledge of Russian speech, introduction to the classics. And aesthetics classes will enrich students internally,” — says Angela Gubzhokova.
The ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between the university and school number 8 in Baksan was attended by Aksana Karasheva, Head of the Department of Career Guidance and Pre-University Training at the KBSU, Artur Nasipov, Director of the Moscow University of Civil Engineering, Muslim Tamazov, Director of the CSI of the KBSU and Director of the Adyg Culture of the KBSU, Madina Ezaova. In addition, the honorary guests of the school were representatives of the creative intelligentsia of the KBR Balkar poet Mutalip Beppayev, honored journalist of the Russian Federation, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic Maria Kotlyarova, poet, editor of the Kabardino-Balkar Pravda newspaper Svetlana Mottayeva, member of the KBR Parliament Maskhsut Gazaev.
A small concert program, prepared by the students, really impressed guests. Literary and artistic compositions were composed of works by Alexander Pushkin, Bulat Okudzhava, Kaisyn Kuliev. Classical works were performed both in Russian, and in the Kabardian and Balkarian languages.

As part of an extensive program, students of the humanitarian and aesthetic class are to become participants in a number of events held at KBSU.
«Let’s start with ourselves, with native culture, native literature. We will study the history of the native language. Then we will begin to invade the linguistic space of other cultures», — Madina Ezaova, curator of the humanitarian-aesthetic class, told about the upcoming classes.
There will also be annual Berbekov readings, project activities, a literary quest dedicated to the 250th anniversary of I. Krylov, integrated voice-over for the cartoon “Mitten”, participation in the launch of the flashmob on Instagram with a competitive survey on the knowledge of ethics, culture, mother tongue and much more.
