Financial literacy was discussed at KBSU
May 31 at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov launched a project aimed at increasing the financial literacy of young citizens of the republic.
The event was attended by students from different educational departments of KBSU, members of youth public organizations and schoolchildren of educational institutions.
According to the author of the project, chairman of the commission on economics, youth entrepreneurship and labor Anzor Afashagov, the main goal of the project is to increase the financial literacy of young people, promote the formation of reasonable financial behavior, and increase efficiency in protecting the rights of consumers of financial services.
The lecture was attended by the director of the medical college of KBSU, a member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on Education, Science and Youth Affairs and the Committee of the Parliament of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on Labor, Social Policy and Healthcare Svetlana Pshibieva. She noted the importance of this project and wished good luck to the participants.
«I am very glad to see students of various educational departments, I hope that the information that will be heard today will be useful for you,» — noted Svetlana Pshibieva.
At the end of the lecture, the participants in the meeting answered all the students’ questions of interest.
