Experts discuss key areas of development of pedagogical education at the conference «We Can Teach»

Employees of the Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Culture and Sports Education of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, headed by the head of the department Olga Mikhailenko, are taking part in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference «We Can Teach». It is being held today at the Russian Academy of Education.

The participants in the discussion — representatives of regional research centers, classical and pedagogical universities of the country, will discuss a system of techniques and tools that ensure the personal development of future teachers, the possibility of transferring practical experience through mentoring and coaching technologies, including in the virtual educational environment of the university, and will also talk about ways to introduce media tools into school education.

As part of the conference, employees of the IPPiFSO KBSU, together with colleagues from the Taganrog Institute named after A. P. Chekhov became co-organizers and experts of the round table «Pedagogical education in the modern socio-cultural space», which was held online. The focus was on the mental and personal characteristics of students, which should be taken into account by teachers when building the educational process.

Later, the director of the Institute of Pedagogical and Physical Education of the KBSU Olga Mikhailenko and the deputy president of the Russian Academy of Education Zhanna Solodovnikova during a personal conversation outlined joint activities on the project «Psychological and pedagogical support for specialized classes».

A number of other meetings are planned during the conference.
