Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex of KBSU has again become the center of digital transformation
About a hundred scientists gathered the IV All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation «Digital Transformation of Science and Education», organized by the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H.M. Berbekov.
The Elbrus Educational and Scientific Complex of KBSU has traditionally become a place where scientific thought merges with aesthetic pleasure and inspiration given by the nature of these places. I believe that this alloy will bring new ideas, new successful alliances and new achievements for the benefit of the country and all of us. We are very glad to see here both the regulars of our conference, who have been coming for more than a year, and new participants, and especially young people who will open new horizons in the field of digital transformation of science and education,” — said Albert, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies of KBSU Shapsigov.
This year, the organization of the KBSU conference was supported by the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian developer of software and hardware VPN solutions and cryptographic information protection — the company «InfoTeKS», an autonomous non-profit organization of additional professional education «Institute for Research on Information Security Problems», the National Collegium polygraph examiners of the Russian Federation, the Institute of Informatics and Regional Development Problems of the KBSC RAS, the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Automation of the KBSC RAS. The support of the conference every year becomes stronger and more representative, notes the chairman of the organizing committee of the conference — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security of the IIIiTsT KBSU Tatyana Hashirova:
“I wish all participants of the conference fruitful work, new like-minded people and friends! The geography of the conference has expanded, we have been joined by delegations from Kalmykia and the Rostov region, traditionally with us are Moscow, Saratov, Krasnodar, representatives of the republics of the North Caucasus. To increase coverage, we listen to scientific reports in an online format — this is not just a trend of the times, but also a request from our Russian and international partners,” — Hashirova said.
Within the framework of the Conference, plenary sessions and a series of scientific events were held, corresponding to the priority areas of development of science, technology and engineering in the Russian Federation.
Russian and foreign scientists, graduate students, applicants, undergraduates, representatives of government authorities and the real sector of the economy who are in charge of the information security, programming, artificial intelligence and digitalization sectors are invited to participate in the conference. Industrial partners of KBSU and industrial partners of participants and founders of the conference.
The scientific program of the conference included work in five thematic areas:
− Digital trends in science and education: experience and problems of implementation
− Artificial intelligence and robotics
− Information technologies in ecology and nature management
− Information security: new technologies — new risks
− Digitization of the economy: problems, solutions, innovations
“This topic is currently being considered at major professional forums in Arkhangelsk, Khabarovsk, Moscow, and it is very important that the South of Russia did not stand aside. KBSU has always been a strategically important partner in the field of it-technologies and information security, a pillar for the development of our projects in the region, — said Anna Chefranova, General Director of the Non-State Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education “INFOTEKS Training Center”. — At this conference, the most acute problems and tasks for the country are considered, and today I was asked to speak on a very important topic for the country — “Digital Sovereignty”, etc. in particular, about what our company is doing to achieve it. I think that our meeting will result in very useful consortiums, since each of the participants in this forum, to one degree or another, is aimed at solving the state task of achieving digital sovereignty.”
Zelimkhan Nagoev, General Director of the Federal Scientific Center of the KBSC RAS, acquainted the participants of the conference with promising areas of research conducted by the center independently and in tandem with KBSU, noted the relevance of the forum topics in terms of the need to train new personnel for the digital economy.
At the end of two intense days of scientific work in sections and plenary sessions, all participants who submitted scientific reports received certificates from the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation «Digital Transformation of Science and Education» confirming the practical testing of the work and the opportunity to enjoy the amazing beauty of the Elbrus region.
