Does the state control the economy, or does the economy control the state? Lecture by Mukhamed Tsikanov at KBSU
On November 14, 2023, the next open lecture by Doctor of Economic Sciences, professor, member of the KBSU Board of Trustees, Mukhamed Tsikanov was held at the Boiling Point of KBSU.
The topic of the meeting between the respected lecturer and students was “Problems of economic science and management systems.” Senior year students of IMTIG and IPEiF in the areas of training “Management”, “Economics”, “State and Municipal Administration”, “Human Resource Management” together with the professor discussed the problems of numerous financial crises of recent decades, the reasons for the debt burden of countries and households and why forecasts in the economy are not are confirmed.
“Very interesting and topical issues of economics and management were discussed. The meeting with students is aimed at developing an objective understanding of economic problems and the process of making management decisions. Interesting facts, an objective look at economic events of the past and present, analysis of existing points of view, undoubtedly contributed to a deeper understanding of the current situation in the economy, the formation of one’s own opinion and the development of the ability to draw objective conclusions. I think that the students learned a lot of useful information that will be useful to them in the future. Such meetings help students gain real experience and new knowledge, which expands consciousness and thinking,” noted the acting director. Director of the Institute Ramazan Ligidov.
The lecturer answered numerous questions not only from students, but also from the teaching staff of the Institute of Management, Tourism and Hospitality Industry of KBSU who attended the meeting.
The lecture was organized by the Center for Psychophysics of Management Decisions and Behavioral Economics of KBSU, whose scientific director is Professor Mukhamed Tsikanov. Since the creation of the Center, Mukhamed Mukhadinovich has held dozens of meetings with students and teachers of KBSU, each of which has left an intellectual mark and food for thought for the audience.
