«Do the Right Thing»: KBSU Helped Schoolchildren Decide on Their Future
Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (KBSU) held a large-scale career guidance festival «Do the Right Thing», which was attended by hundreds of high school students from all over the republic and neighboring regions, as well as their teachers and parents.
The main goal of the festival was to help potential applicants in the difficult process of choosing a future profession. The organizers — employees of the Department of Pre-University Training and Career Guidance Work — introduced them to a wide range of specialties and areas of training implemented at KBSU, revealed the prospects that open up to university graduates, and provided an opportunity to personally communicate with teachers and students.
Head of the Department Albina Vindizheva, welcoming the participants, noted:
KBSU is not just a university, it is a large and friendly family where everyone can find themselves, realize their potential and get a quality education. We are proud of our graduates who successfully work in various fields of economics, science, education and culture.
I am sure that after today’s festival you will leave with new knowledge, inspiration, and I hope to see you among our students! Welcome to KBSU!
The bright and rich program of the festival included various activities designed to immerse participants in the atmosphere of student life and show KBSU in all its glory. Interactive platforms representing all educational departments of KBSU were deployed on the university parade ground. Here, schoolchildren could not only get information about admission requirements and educational programs, but also take part in exciting master classes, competitions, quizzes and scientific experiments. Student clubs and associations of KBSU presented their creative projects, demonstrating the rich and diverse extracurricular life of the university.
The festival «Do the Right Thing» became a bright and memorable event for all its participants. It not only helped high school students make an informed choice of their future profession, but also allowed them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of student life and feel like part of the large and friendly KBSU family.
