Discussing the education of the future
More than 300 people took part on March 24, 2023 in the forum of heads of educational organizations of the KBR at the site of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. Kh. M. Berbekova. The forum was timed to coincide with the Year of the Teacher and Mentor and was dedicated to the problems of transformation and prospects for the development of the modern education system. The head of the republic, Kazbek Kokov, took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the forum at the site of the MKOU «Secondary School No. 33», who noted that in the current geopolitical conditions, Russian education cannot remain the same. The key issue remains the support of teachers. We are consistently working in this direction by raising salaries, additional payments for work in rural schools, introducing a new sectoral wage system, and rewarding teachers whose pupils have shown the best results in Olympiads. We are also working on a mechanism for attracting young specialists to the profession. I note that the result of the work of the discussion platforms of the forum will be, among other things, proposals for further improving the education system of the republic. One of the important areas is the development of mentoring. Given that the Year of the Teacher and Mentor is coming, I decided to join the Movement of the First as a mentor, — said Kazbek Kokov. Both forum sites: KBSU and MKOU secondary school No. 33 is a meeting place for the heads of general educational organizations of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the KBR, local government, public organizations, methodologists and teachers, where they worked out the vectors for the development of the general education system and identified key areas, presented best management practices and discussed topical issues of education and upbringing, as well as designed ways to solve them. The topic of the site at KBSU was «Training of teaching staff for the general education system of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.» The participants of the forum were greeted by acting. Rector of KBSU, Professor Yuri Altudov:
The theme of the forum «Education — a look into the future» makes us think not only about the future, but also analyze the current situation. The training of teachers in classical universities today constitutes a qualitative educational basis and continues the traditions of what originated in the past. I must say that the main burden of preparing the ground for the education of the future falls on our teachers and educators who have gathered here today. I would like to wish all of us success in discussing issues and understanding how we will continue to work to achieve the tasks and goals announced by the head of our state.
Yuri Altudov presented letters of thanks from KBSU for active, long-term, fruitful cooperation and high professionalism shown in joint work, to the head of the Center for Pedagogical Education of the Russian Academy of Education, Elena Vrublevskaya; Tatyana Zolko, head of the MCU “Department of Education of the Local Administration of the Prokhladnensky Municipal District of the KBR; Director of MKOU «Secondary School named after P.P.
