Designer’s Day and Artist’s Day at KBSU were celebrated with an exhibition of creative works by students and faculty
KBSU held the grand opening of an exhibition of student and faculty works, timed to coincide with two significant professional holidays: Designer’s Day (December 5) and International Artist’s Day (December 8). These dates brought together all those dedicated to creativity, beauty, and harmony—students, faculty, artists, and designers.
Aminat Sultanova, Director of the Institute of Architecture, Construction, and Design at KBSU, addressed the future designers—»masters of form and meaning»:
«While you are studying, experimenting, and searching for your style and voice, it is now that the foundations of your future mastery are being laid. I wish you to remain curious, bold in your decisions, and faith in the power of your creativity.» Next, Khazret Guketlov, Head of the Department of Architecture and Design, spoke about the origins of Artist’s Day.
The event received a special atmosphere from Alim Germanovich Pashtov, People’s Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, leading specialist at the German Pashtov Creative Workshop, and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. His words were a recognition of the value of the creative path of each student and artist.
The exhibition of student and faculty work featured projects in industrial design, graphic design, painting, architectural graphics, and other fields. The works of these young talents vividly demonstrated the importance of their contribution to shaping the cultural and visual environment of modern society.
