Dedication To Students
The freshmen of the KBR were sworn by the first spirit of the student brotherhood during the republican dedication to students of the Parade of Russian Students — Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, held on September 15.
About 4 thousand students from 13 educational institutions of the republic took part in this grandiose event, and in general around 600 institutions and more than 400,000 freshmen from 47 cities took part in the parade.
In Nalchik, the parade was held on the initiative of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov within the framework of the grant of the winner of the All-Russian competition of youth projects among educational organizations of higher education in 2018 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Council of Vice-Rectors of Russia.
The procession of first-year students started from the Musical Theater and stopped at the main building of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University.
Their addresses to the participants of the parade were sent by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the Head of the KBR Yuri Kokov and the Chairman of the Council of Vice-Rectors for the Educational Work of Educational Organizations of Russia Arthur Savelov.
With a salutatory word, the students addressed the students. Minister of Education, Science and Youth KBR Aues Kumykov:
“Dear first-year students! You have entered a new, important phase of your life. Now you are students. I want to wish you that the direction that you have chosen in terms of finding a profession was correct. And the student’s years were rich and fruitful. Be curious, active in the knowledge of the chosen specialty. Let the country in your country acquire high-quality specialists in different fields of knowledge and industries”.
Heads of educational institutions of the republic also congratulated their recruits on their entry into the student brotherhood.
“You have embarked on the path of cognition and diligence, namely, these two concepts underlie the high title of a student of KBSU. You will continue the traditions of our university, which occupies a leading position in studies, sports, creativity. I am sure that your potential is unlimited, you have much to grow and what to strive for,” — Said Arthur Kazharov.
During the celebration, a telebridge was held — a roll call of the participating cities of the parade. And after the solemn oath of the Russian student, freshmen from the republic congratulated the first-year students of the republic on their performances.
