Day of Russian Students at KBSU
January 25, 2024, Russian Student Day at Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov was fun, noisy, dynamic and united students from different universities and colleges of the republic.
In the hall of the main building there was an exhibition of photographs “On the Student Wave”, where photographs from the history of students of all currently operating colleges and universities of the republic were shown.
Thematic interactive platforms from student councils of educational departments of KBSU and a photo zone from interns of the Digital Team project attracted a huge number of visitors from among students and not only. Here you could learn a lot of interesting and useful information about various areas of training, as well as try yourself as a doctor, designer, criminologist, chemist, physicist and many others.
The interactive platforms together with students were visited by the Minister of Education and Science of the KBR Anzor Ezaov, the Minister of Youth Affairs of the KBR Azamat Lyuev and acting. Rector of KBSU Yuri Altudov.
In addition, the head of the university met with KBSU student activists. During the conversation with Yuri Altudov, students asked questions on current topics of concern to them, made proposals for the development of the university’s infrastructure, and thanked the university’s management for their support and assistance in implementing their projects.
“The modern agenda requires the university to work aimed at solving regional issues. Our primary task is to train personnel for the economy and social sphere of Kabardino-Balkaria. The university is responsible for the admission of applicants, the quality of the educational process and the employment of graduates,” noted Yuri Altudov.
During the conversation, issues were raised regarding the university’s training of scientists, support for promising athletes, preferences for students participating in the SVO, as well as the organization of the learning process, and elimination of everyday problems in buildings and dormitories.
As part of the Day of Russian Students at KBSU, a viewing and discussion of a film dedicated to the national achievements of Russia, presented at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” took place. KBSU students agreed that Russia is famous not only for the fact that it is the largest in the world in terms of area, but also for the fact that the most talented, intelligent, educated, beautiful, strong-willed and sympathetic people live here.
A wonderful end to the day was the awarding of students who distinguished themselves in various fields of activity. For active participation in student life, cultural, creative and social activities of KBSU, 24 university students received a letter of gratitude from the department for youth policy and educational work of KBSU.
