Conference on the development of humanitarian science and education is being held at KBSU
The III All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation “Strategies for the development of humanitarian science and education in the context of the new reality” started today at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov.
Researchers, teachers, postgraduates and students of universities of the country and neighboring countries will exchange scientific and practical experience and discuss current issues in the field of philology, linguacultural studies, pedagogy, teaching methods, psychology and Caucasian studies.
The organizer is the Department of Foreign Languages of the Social and Humanitarian Institute of KBSU.

Head of Department of English and Professional Communication of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economics, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Marina Melnichuk gave a report “The Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Improving the Efficiency of Teaching a Foreign Language at a University”. It was dedicated to the quality of education and the impact of emotional intelligence on improving this quality.
As Melnichuk noted, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and KBSU are partner universities that have been holding joint events for several years, which are of genuine interest to the scientific community of both universities.
Head of the Department of German and Romance Philology of the Saratov State University of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor Rashid Alikayev spoke about Viennese originals and the peculiarities of the formation of aphoristic discourse using the example of the Viennese school.
The problem of the discrepancy between the semantic scope of political science terms in Russian and English: using the concept of “state” as an example was reported by the head of the Department of German and Romance Philology of the Saratov State University of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. The conference will end on November 8. Based on its materials, a collection will be published, which will be included in the list of publications included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), it will be posted on the website of the Russian scientific electronic library.
