Cats Congratulated Children With A Happy New Year

On the eve of the most magical and fabulous holiday children of teachers and staff of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov saw an unusual performance — the New Year musical “Cat’s Jazz”, prepared by the KBSU school “Mockingbird”.

In the performance based on the fairy tale by Vyacheslav Lymarev “In a certain kingdom, in the cat state” more than 30 children are involved who, under the guidance of Madina Dokshukina, work so professionally that not only the young spectators, but their parents could not tear themselves away from the action. Every detail is thought out — from the scenery to the costumes of the heroes. Songs performed live, the game of heroes and mass dances — everything was bright, expressive and at a high level.

And, of course, the plot of the musical itself is fascinating, built on the fact that the villains conceived to overthrow the feline king and destroy his kingdom. Spectators with bated breath watched the ups and downs of the dramatic story, and the brave cat-prince, who courageously fought with enemies and for his love for the simple kitty Molly. As it should be in a fairy tale, the good won. The cunning of a rat posing as a Siamese cat was revealed. Unlucky burglar cats punished. A noble prince married his beloved.

Generous applause and shouts of «bravo» were the best gift to young artists from the audience.

After the presentation, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden invited the kids to dance around the Christmas tree, and then distributed long-awaited gifts.
