Arsen Haraev, vice-rector of the KBSU for the organization of admission and pre-university activities, Aksana Karasheva, head of the department for pre-university training and career guidance, teachers and students of KBSU. Welcoming high school students and their teachers, Arsen Haraev said:
The popularity of our university is evidenced by the fact that it has students from 49 regions of Russia and more than 40 countries of the world. Every year, up to 6,000 freshmen come to us for all specialties and directions that are needed for our region. By all indicators, KBSU is in the top 100 best universities subordinate to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, in a ranking of more than 700 universities. So we are waiting for you, ready to talk about all the positive aspects of the educational process and we hope that on June 20 you will come to us as applicants. Welcome.
In the past, a graduate of the medical faculty of KBSU, Alim Asanov, noted that the knowledge gained at his alma mater helped him successfully complete his residency and postgraduate studies in Moscow.
Today, the job fair “Work in Russia. Opportunity time.» In Nalchik, a job fair was launched in the State Concert Hall, and a career guidance fair was held in KBSU. I want to note that the project “Work of Russia. Time of Opportunities” provides a wide potential for job seekers, for those who today are just choosing their future profession and want to build a career. Therefore, school graduates should understand what vacancies there are in the republic, what opportunities the university and other educational institutions have in order to choose a profession to their liking, which is in demand on the labor market and will bring pleasure and well-being,
— the minister said.
Alim Asanov described the situation on the labor market in the KBR, noting that at the moment over 6,000 unemployed people are registered in the republican employment center, while there are more than 3,000 vacancies. One of the difficulties is that rural residents cannot always get to work in the city, and specialists with higher education required in the village do not want to go to the countryside. The task of the Ministry of Labor is to resolve these issues. To do this, there are various programs, including the program «Zemsky doctor», «Zemsky teacher» and others. Of the specialists in demand in the republic, the minister named doctors, teachers, engineers, and representatives of working professions.
Valentina Sakharnova, an employee of the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District, turning to schoolchildren, drew their attention to the second part of the name of the All-Russian Employment Fair — «Time of Opportunities»:
This is really a time of opportunities, because given what employers offer at the fair today, we can vacancies not only in the territory of this region, but also to communicate with employers from other regions. You need to understand where you can realize yourself if, for example, you are considering moving to other regions. In any case, finding a job is a very important circumstance for every person, because it depends on how life will turn out. Taking into account the fact that the President of the Russian Federation sets the task for the Government of the Russian Federation and other authorities to increase the level of well-being of each person, it can be confidently stated that successful employment is of great importance in solving this problem.
In parting words to future students, Valentina Saharnova emphasized that a conscientious attitude to studies gives a chance to successfully realize oneself in life:
Today, IT specialties are in demand, but choose a profession that suits your soul, according to your knowledge, do not be afraid to apply for a job where high salaries are not immediately offered. Experience is worth a lot, but it does not come immediately. The job market is diverse, and where you find yourself is up to you.
In the hall of the main building of the university, an exhibition of educational units of KBSU was arranged. High school students were asked to get acquainted with the conditions for admission to KBSU, areas of study for programs of educational levels (bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s, postgraduate studies), employment prospects, etc. KBSU students warmly greeted the guests and handed them information booklets. Schoolchildren also took an active part in master classes organized by students of KBSU colleges.
All participants of the career guidance fair noted the importance and relevance of the information presented at the event. The second is the federal stage of the All-Russian Job Fair is scheduled for June 23.
For reference: The All-Russian Job Fair is being held this year for the first time. The purpose of the event is to bring together applicants and employers from various industries: from small and medium-sized businesses to large corporations. For participants, this is an opportunity to immediately pass an interview with several employers, find a job both within their region and outside it. The organizer of the All-Russian Employment Fair is the Ministry of Labor of Russia, regional authorities and employment centers with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Rosmolodezh, ANO National Priorities and ANO Dialog. At the sites of regional fairs, career and personnel consultants from modernized employment centers, as well as independent experts, will help job seekers identify the most promising industries for further employment. Now the database of vacancies of the portal «Job Russia» has about 1.56 million vacancies, of which every fifth offer is a vacancy in the industry. And we see a consistent growth in demand for skilled workers, for engineers. The job fair is an opportunity to quickly and first-hand learn about the offers of enterprises, to pass a “quick selection”. Therefore, for those who are currently in a situation of career choice, it is important to come to the fair in order to compare their expectations and the situation on the labor market in their region, personally communicate with key employers, clarify working conditions and social guarantees from companies that are currently recruiting employees. For the current day to participate in the project “The work of Russia. Time of Opportunities,” more than 9,200 employers joined,” — said Anton Kotyakov, head of the Russian Ministry of Labor. Recall that thanks to the Demography national project, a project is being implemented to modernize the Employment Service. Employment centers are switching to uniform standards for the provision of services, depending on the life situation of the applicant and the business situation of the employer. Retraining of specialists of employment centers, training of career and personnel consultants is being carried out. In addition, the infrastructure of employment centers is being updated. Almost 200 centers across the country have already been updated.
