Career Day at the Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics of KBSU
On June 10, 2024, final year students of the Institute of Informatics, Electronics and Robotics of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov talked with representatives of the institute’s partner organizations at Career Day.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide assistance to students and graduates in finding employment, to expand partnerships between the institute and specialized organizations, to increase students’ interest in their chosen profession, to familiarize themselves with the features of work and prospects for professional growth in specialized organizations, and to establish personal contacts with representatives of employers.
The potential employers were the director of the RTRS branch “RTPC of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic” Dzhambulat Shorov, acting. Director of the Institute of Informatics and Regional Management Problems of the KBSC RAS, Ph.D. Kantemir Bzhikhatlov, who noted that the labor market is currently experiencing an engineering hunger in the areas of training of the institute.
The speakers spoke about their personnel reserves and the procedure for selecting candidates for open vacancies, and answered students’ questions, including regarding the size of the salary and the availability of competencies for work in this field.
As part of the event, URC employees, lecturers of the Russian Knowledge Society Ratmir Kotsev and Kristina Lopatina conducted an educational track “Step to a Career”, told participants about the prospects for realizing their potential in the projects of the Russian Knowledge Society and about the possibilities of building a career path at KBSU, including including using the digital career environment “Fakultetus”.
