Release date: 14.02.2024

During a business lesson conducted by Sberbank employees for students of Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, the discussion was about in what areas young people can open and develop their own business and where to start.

The lesson was held within the framework of the federal project “University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform” and the current cooperation agreement between the university and the financial institution.

As Tanzilya Makhieva, director of the department for support of NTI projects and continuing education at KBSU, explained, the university is one of 60 universities where, within the framework of the federal project “Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship” of the state program “Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation”, “Entrepreneurial Boiling Point” is successfully operating. The project is aimed at the prospect of building a new economy, a new labor market for young people. KBSU employees carry out work in various formats to identify future entrepreneurs, leaders of change who seek to form their own business, create jobs for themselves and others. This is done with the goal of becoming self-employed and building your own startups.

Sber employees do a lot of explanatory and practical work in this direction,” — said Tanzilya Takhirovna. – A business game for students, “Build Your Future,” was recently held, initiated by the management of the Kabardino-Balkarian branch of Sberbank. It was carried out with the aim of developing in students communicative and intellectual skills that would contribute to effective employment.

Interaction with Sber takes place during thematic weeks of financial literacy. The organizer of the event is the Russian Ministry of Finance, and Sber is its general partner.

A series of free webinars “How to save and increase money” was also held for young people. Students of the Institute of Law, Economics and Finance of KBSU became winners of the competitive selection of the South-Western Bank of Sberbank to receive a special scholarship. Meetings were held between representatives of the regional branch of Sberbank and foreign students. University applicants can take advantage of state support for educational lending within the framework of an agreement concluded by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Sberbank. In addition, there are many other formats for working with this financial and credit organization, and all of them are in demand at the university.

This time, during a business lesson, Sber employees explained in what areas students can create and develop their own business while studying at a university or upon graduation, and where they should start. How to achieve great results in a short time by applying new knowledge and business technologies. The organizers of the lesson also provided a number of activities, and a question and answer session was held.

The main message of the conversation was the statement of the requirements of our time: in the 21st century, for success in any business, education must be continuous, lifelong. And everyone who intends to realize their dreams in the professional field should be prepared for this.

An important point of the meeting was the students’ communication with the deputy manager of the Kabardino-Balkarian branch of Sberbank, KBSU graduate Azamat Ozrokov, who spoke about his career, the organization’s personnel policy, employment opportunities in this organization for KBSU graduates, and also gave practical advice.

In order to achieve self-realization in business, as well as in career advancement, it is important to understand what needs to be done to move to the next level, to the next professional position, i.e. determine the goal that you are trying to achieve at this stage, draw up a step-by-step scheme for obtaining the necessary knowledge and competencies for this, and work hard. There are successes, there are failures. Failure is not a reason to give up. It’s just an experience that we need to take into account, make more efforts and move on,

– says the deputy manager of a regional bank branch.

Azamat Olegovich spoke about Sber educational programs that can be used by people of all ages. In particular, about the “School 21” program, within the framework of which applicants who have passed the selection can take a training course and become programmers.

At the end of the meeting, Sber representatives answered questions from students.
